Designs By Evey I'm originally from Madison, WI where I was taught by my mother and grandmother how to sew at an early age. My Grandmother was an excellent seamstress and drapery maker. I created most of my two daughters' clothes until they were about 10, when it suddenly became uncool to have handmade anything. I then started to sew for other people's children and grandchildren,and eventually started a business creating and selling American Girl Doll Clothes. After 10 years of Farmer's Markets and Holiday Bazaars, I started selling online. Since retirement, I became a partner in a boutique in Breckenridge, CO, Kaleidoscope, where many of my items are for sale. Sewing is my hobby, but having fun in the mountains of Colorado is my passion. I've hiked many of the 14ers (mountains over 14,000 feet - Colorado has 54), I still downhill ski 50 to 60 days a season, I mountain and road bike, and my husband and I take our Jeep Rubicon on trails here in Colorado and in Utah. Slowing down isn't in my future! :)

Without my husband Bill and my two fabulous daughters Molly and Jessica, I wouldn't have had the nerve to start this business 12 years ago. Bill has been very supportive of me and has been so very helpful building displays, helping with setup and teardown at shows and markets and he's a great salesman. Thank you everyone.

Jessica and Pepper
Jessica rescued Pepper 10 years ago and Pepper has been eternally grateful. Pepper is a German Shorthair who like long walks and chasing bunnies in Chicago. Jessica is head of the Interior Space Design Group at The Lamar Johnson Collaborative in Chicago. She helps me with her creative flair and ideas for products.
Molly and Mark
Daughter and Son-in-Law
Molly and Mark - parents of Nicholas - have helped me numerous times at shows and markets. Molly balances her time with Nicholas and St. Joseph's Hospital as an X-Ray Tech. Mark is a Project Manager for Ball Aerospace after spending 9 years in the Marines.
